Everyone needs a coach
What is the difference between coaching and therapy?
Coaching is like therapy but with a goal. Coaching is forward-looking. What can you do now to move forward? A coach is knowledgeable and an expert by experience in the areas the client wants to work on.
So much of who we are is based on how we feel about ourselves. So much of how we see the world is in direct correlation to our childhood. A good coach has the ability to be a witness and hold a safe space to help you
collect the dots so you can connect the dots and break negative cycles.
“Everyone needs a coach.” These were the words Bill Gates chose to open his 2013 TED Talk with. He points out that one common characteristic in high-performing individuals is the fact that they all have a coach. Coach's engage, educate and assist you with identifying your mental prisons so you can enjoy mental freedom.
You Need 4 People in Your Life
1. Coach
2. Friend
3. Mentor
4. Cheerleader
An athlete will seek out a coach to become better at their sport. A working professional will seek out a coach to move ahead in their career or work through stress and burnout. An individual will seek out a financial coach to help manage their finances. Don't you think as a society we should seek out coaches to increase our emotional intelligence? You owe it to yourself to be the best version you can be.
Offering help is courageous and compassionate, but so is asking for help.

Hallie has been my coach for a little over a year now. When we met, I was binging and purging several times a day, and had very high body dysmorphia, and low self-esteem. Today I haven't binged and purged in over 18 months, I'm able to find things I like about myself, I'm out of debt, and I'm learning how to set and implement boundaries with others. I'm so grateful she is in my life. - Melissa
